Christopher Fisher is the President of Tallahassee Operations
and Co-Chair of Curriculum/Program Development at EYM. In this
capacity, Christopher is responsible for assisting the President
of the committee, Bryan D. Castleberry, within any capacity to
effectively operate the committee. As the Co-Chair, he is also
responsible for ensuring that all lesson plans, workshops, forums,
and events are fun, educational and uniquely cater to the premise
of EYM, to empower young black men. Christopher became a member
of the organization in January of 2008.
Professionally, Christopher has had the opportunity to work with
O’Shea Sports Marketing Consulting Group located in Dallas,
Texas. There he interned as a Junior Marketing Consultant. He
has also had the opportunity to intern at Florida A&M University
Developmental Research School, better known as FAMU High School,
as an Assistant Athletic Director giving him the opportunity to
work with young black males in the community through the venue
of sports. Christopher plans to continue his professional career
in the sports industry.
Currently, Christopher is a graduate student at Florida Agricultural
and Mechanical University (FAMU), where he is studying to receive
is Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in
Marketing. Because of being a part of the MBA program at FAMU,
he will receive an MBA and his Bachelors of Business Administration
degrees at the same time upon completion of the program. Christopher
will complete his degree in the spring of 2009.
While attending FAMU, Christopher has had many achievements and
has been a part of many extra curricular activities. He has been
a presidential scholar, on the deans lists several times, a member
of FAMU Athletic Marketing Group, and member of the FAMU chapter
of Faces Modeling Troupe. Within his academic program, He has
been CEO of Social Labs, a student ran company at the School of
Business and Industry (SBI), and Vice President and Assistant
Vice President for Electronic Media Services, which is also a
student ran company at SBI. Christopher is also a member of Chaires
Masonic Lodge #259, Free and Accepted Mason, Prince Hall Affiliated.
Christopher was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Dallas,
Texas. In Dallas, he attended Canyon Creek Christian Academy and
was a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park. Some of
his hobbies include sports, cooking, music, and fashion.
